Paul McCleary
Technical Sales Director
Paul has been a key figure at AIMS since 2004. He came back on board as the Technical Sales Director in 2021 after taking a hiatus to strengthen and develop his engineering and business skills.
His analytical mind has led him to become an expert in finding solutions. Throughout his career, he has garnered numerous awards and honours.
Inventor of the world’s first vertical plasma cutting machine. His engineering accomplishment was recognised and awarded by Engineering Australia, as well as ABC’s New Inventors.
When Paul has some spare time, he loves nothing more than to go bend swinging on his beloved Buell motorbike.
Sara McCleary
CEO
Since 2003, Sara has been a member of AIMS. First as General Manager, then as CEO upon the retirement of the company’s founder, Ivan Grasis (her father), in 2021.
Before this, she lived, ate, and breathed the industry through no fault of her own as part of family life.
Sara, along with Josh, assisted with organising and managed the last Australasian Aluminium Extrusion Conference (AAEC) in 2018.
By night, she is the author of Belly Rumbles, one of Australia’s longest-running and most widely read culinary travel blogs.
Josh McCleary
Operations Support
Josh is gaining experience in business management and the aluminium extrusion industry. He emulates Paul as a problem-solver and man of ideas.
He really had no hope of avoiding the family business. Before he reached the age of 10 Josh was doing his homework in the office and helping out when needed.
Josh adores all things technological. He is even a CASA-certified drone pilot.
